One of the things I’ve decided to add to my 2015 resolutions list (I don’t know why I still bother with them since they only last a week) is to wear more lipstick. I admit, I am not a huge makeup junkie but I like to dabble in it once in a while. I am definitely going to try and change that and I will make sure to take you with me on that transition via the blog.
For now, let me start with lipstick and what better way than with NARS Audacious Lipstick collection which was launched in celebration of the brand’s 20th anniversary.
I was invited in to test all the beautiful colors of the collection and choose my top 5 shades that worked best for my skin tone. This was a great start for a lipstick rookie since I wasn’t sure where to begin. We picked out colors that worked for most occasions such as an everyday nude, the Anita, to a sultry dark burgundy called Charlotte. The lipsticks are so smooth and rich making application smooth and the colors are pretty intense so they lasted on for over 4 hours.
My picks are: Anita, Angela, Juliette, Annabella and Charlotte.
