Not A Wallflower

Before I begin this post, I have to address my absence on the blog. I know I know, I have been a horrible blogger, rarely updating the website and making it look like I am neglecting it or worse, stopped blogging.

It has been such a hectic year and it is only April. On a daily basis, I am inundated with emails, projects, travel and just my personal life. There have been amazing ups {you will know more as I final start updating} and a couple of downs. It is not easy trying to balance everything but I am back now ready to face everything head on with my wonderful team {more about that later}. To the ones that still follow me on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter and keep checking LylaLovesFashion.com for updates, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. It means so much that you coming back for more of my silly little life.

Now back to this style post. It was a day of running errands and pulling looks for shoots so I kept it comfortable and simple with a black and white look. I love a good shirt of busy days and this monochrome number from H&M does the job. I paired it with skinny white jeans from GAP and lobster print loafers from Coach. My red Furla bag gave the look that extra touch of color.

That wall of Bougainvillea flowers just reminded me how beautiful life can be. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and go out and live. Life is beautiful.
